The welding of dissimilar materials is one the challenging issues in thefabrication industry to obtain required quality welds using fusion weldingmethods. However, some processes recently improved interface bondingwith low joint strength. Unfortunately, major intermetallic compoundscould not alleviate from interface. Alternatively, solid-statewelding methods revealed fewer intermetallics at fordissimilar material welds. Among them, friction was chosen joinincompatible with necessary properties successfully. Frictiontime a critical parameter for obtaining strong through frictionwelding, apart pressure, forging time, androtational speed. Variability time can change strength offriction by changing mechanical such as tensile Thischange typically influenced intermixing region,dependent on time. In this experiment, carbon steel and stainlesssteel have been welded test impact thejoint where substrate’s faying surface meets. This interfaceconsists region two which frictionwelding performed. results showed an interesting variation tensilestrength, varying width zoneincreased gradually until decreased furtherincreasing. obtained highest 730 MPaat 4 s fell time’s increased value after s.
